BHANSA published an updated VFR chart with recommended routes of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency published “VFR chart with recommended routes of Bosnia and Herzegovina” with an effective date 04th November, 2021.

The above mentioned chart is designed to to serve as a basic aeronautical map for aircraft flying in accordance with Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and pre-flight planning. 

The chart in PDF format is available to all users of the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the following web address: https://www.bhansa.gov.ba/en/products, and is also featured on BHANSA’s front page.

The reason for publishing the updated VFR chart is the harmonization of data with AIRAC AMDT from 04th November, 2021 (EFF 4 NOV 2021) where 2 new zones: Školsko brdo and Gorice have been included in section 5.1. Besides, the chart is now clearer and easier to use.

We note that the use of aeronautical information from the  “VFR chart with recommended routes of Bosnia and Herzegovina” is the sole responsibility of the user. The users must always check the latest version of the applicable aeronautical information published through the elements of the Integrated Aeronautical Information Package (IAIP), consisting of:

-           Aeronautical Information Publication of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AIP)

-           Amendment to the AIP (AIP AMDT);

-           Supplement to the AIP (AIP SUP);

-           NOTAM and Pre-flight Information Bulletins (PIB);

-           Aeronautical Information Circular (AIC);

-           Checklists and lists of valid NOTAMs.
