Participation of BHANSA Representatives at FMP Exchange 2025

Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA) participated in the annual FMP Exchange 2025 conference, organized by EUROCONTROL, which brings together professionals and operational experts in the field of Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM).

The conference focused on strengthening cooperation and improving the efficiency of managing the European ATM network. During the two-day meeting, challenges from the previous summer season were reviewed, along with the exchange of best practices aimed at preparing for the announced increase in traffic volume during the 2026 summer season.

Special emphasis was placed on capacity management, the impact of weather conditions on traffic flow, management of critical events, the role of airports within the network, the exchange of ATFCM procedures and practices, as well as innovative solutions to improve traffic flow within the European network. The organizers emphasized that strong cooperation among all ATFM service providers is essential for effective traffic flow management at the European network level.

Through its participation in this event, BHANSA continues to develop national ATFM processes, strengthens coordination with the Network Manager and other European partners, and reinforces readiness to address the challenges of the upcoming summer season.
