Successful Replacement of Workstations Completed at JPAKL Tuzla

The replacement of air traffic controller workstations has been successfully completed at the Tuzla Approach and Aerodrome Control Unit. Through this project, BHANSA has taken another step toward infrastructure modernization and improved working conditions.

New Consoles and Ergonomics

The new workstations feature modern design and a functional layout, enabling better visibility of work surfaces and increased efficiency in handling demanding tasks. Special attention was given to ergonomics, reducing physical strain, and enhancing controller focus.

Installation and Technical Verification

The replacement was carried out in phases to ensure uninterrupted operations. The Air Traffic Control Section closely cooperated with the Aeronautical Engineering Section, which conducted thorough testing and adaptations of all systems—from communication and navigation components to power supply and data display systems.

Functionality and Safety

The new work environments provide faster access to operational systems, better visibility of information, and more efficient communication among controllers and technical staff. This has further increased the safety and reliability of air traffic control services, in line with the highest European and international standards.

This project is part of BHANSA’s broader strategy for continuous development and modernization of technical and operational capacities, establishing modern working conditions and enhancing air traffic safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
