A presentation AIXM Database and Data Origination held in Mostar

A presentation titled “AIXM Database and Data Origination” was held in the conference hall of the Mostar Hotel on 8 December 2025, with the aim of presenting how BHANSA meets the requirements of EU regulations regarding the digital exchange of aeronautical data between the Aeronautical Information Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina / the International NOTAM Office of BiH and aeronautical data originators.

The event was attended by representatives of all four international airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as aeronautical data originators from BHANSA, which further emphasized the importance of cooperation among among all parties involved in the modernization of aeronautical information services.

The opening remarks were presented by Sanjin Hadžiomerović, Deputy Director and Head of the Support Sector at BHANSA; Aleksandar Antunović, Director of the partner company with which the contract was signed; and Sanela Zekić, Head of the Aeronautical Services Division at BHANSA. They expressed their gratitude to BHANSA’s Management for recognizing the importance of the project and for its continuous support in the development of aeronautical information services.

The focus of the presentation was on the development of digital aeronautical data exchange, through which BHANSA contributes to greater accuracy, efficiency, and safety in aeronautical information management. It was particularly emphasized that the project holds significant importance and clear potential for further development through the implementation of modern software solutions, with the implementation of modern software solutions such as the AIM portal and the dNOTAM system.

The lecture was delivered by an expert with many years of experience in the field of aeronautical information. The future system will be placed into operational use once all necessary technical and regulatory prerequisites have been met, as well as after obtaining approval from the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA).
