BHANSA ORGANIZED COURSE "ASSESSMENT OF CHANGES IN ATM/ANS - PART 1"

As part of the activities on the implementation of the Rulebook on establishing general and special requirements for аir navigation service provider, air navigation services and other network functions for air traffic management ("Official Gazette of BiH", no. 10/23), BHANSA is in cooperation with EUROCONTROL - Aviation Learning Center organized the course "Assessment of changes in ATM/ANS -Part 1" (SAF CHG 1).

The above-mentioned course was held in Mostar, in the period from 25-29 September 2023 and was conducted by Mr. Jean-François Piriou, Training Coordinator for Safety Management and EU Legislation for Single European Sky (SES). Along with 20 BHANSA employees, Mr. Dragan Petrović -Head of Air Navigation Section in Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation, participated in the same event.

The course "Assessment of changes in ATM/ANS - Part 1" builds on the knowledge acquired in the course "Management and control of changes in ATM/ANS" (SAF-CHG-INTRO) which was held in May 2022.

Through lectures, demonstrations of examples from practice and practical exercises, the course participants were introduced to the requirements of the regulation, acceptable means of harmonization, advisory materials and the methodology for implementing of safety and assurance assessment of changes to functional systems and security assessment to support and ensure changes in the functional systemas well as their mutual interaction. 

Besides that, the following issue was addressed: Issue in which changes affect other service providers and/or airline entities, when the mutual dependencies and dependencies with airline entities, affected by that change are determined in mutual coordination, as well as assumptions and risk mitigation measures, relating to more than one service provider or airline entity.

At the end of the course, all course participants received certificates of participation.
