A coordination meeting between BHANSA and BHDCA

On 03rd February 2022, BHANSA and BHDCA held a coordination meeting at the Main Office of BHANSA in Mostar. The delegation of  BHDCA was led by the Director General Mr. Čedomir Šušnjar and the delegation of BHANSA was headed by the Director Mr. Davorin Primorac.  

The meeting was organized with the aim of discussing and coordinating current issues related to the competencies of the BHDCA as a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and National Supervisory Athority of BiH (NSA) and BHANSA as a provider of services in the air navigation of BiH. 

During the meeting, a contentment was expressed with the successful results of cooperation so far, highlighting the joint work on the preparation and approval of the document: "PBN Transition Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina", coordination on field data management and obstacles in cooperation with the Ministry of communications and transport of BiH, as well as cooperation with the aim of making a solution that will improve the organization of search and rescue in BiH. 

Particular attention was paid to joint activities on the implementation of Commission Regulation (EU) (EU) 2017/373 оf 01st March 2017 on establishing common requirements for air traffic management service providers / air navigation service providers and other network functions for air traffic management and for their supervision. In 2022, work on the implementation of Regulation 2017/373 is included in the key priorities of the work program of BHDCA and BHANSA. 

Representatives of BHANSA informed the representatives of BHDCA about the activities on the development of VFR Manul of BiH, which will significantly improve the safety of air navigation for users flying according to the visual flight rules (VFR) in the airspace of BiH. 

It was mutually concluded that the holding of coordination meetings between BHDCA and BHANSA both at the level of directors and at other levels of great importance for the continued successful implementation of the competencies prescribed by law of BHDCA and BHANSA in the field of air navigation.
