BHANSA Hosts FAB CE OPS Subcommittee Meeting in Sarajevo

BHANSA hosted the FAB CE OPS Subcommittee meeting in Sarajevo on 10–11 February 2026.

The meeting was attended by 17 representatives from six Member States who, through a constructive and highly productive working atmosphere, made a significant contribution to the discussion of key operational topics.

The discussions focused on the analysis of achieved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the previous year, as well as on planning activities for the upcoming summer season 2026, with the aim of responding in a timely manner to the expected traffic growth.

Participants exchanged experiences in capacity management, the implementation of operational measures, and coordination with relevant partners at the regional level.

Strong teamwork and mutual trust were highlighted during the meeting, along with a commitment to further strengthen the FAB CE initiative — the cooperation of Central European states in airspace management — particularly in the operational domain, through experience-sharing and joint analysis of areas for further improvement.

Through close regional cooperation, BHANSA remains committed to the continuous improvement of safety and efficiency in air navigation services.
