REPRESENTATIVES OF MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND ARMED FORCES OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA VISITED BHANSA

In the period September 08th to 09th of 2021. delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, composed of Mr Dženan Redžo, Assistant Minister for Policy and Planning, Brigadier Slaven Hrkać, Head of the Airspace Management and Protection Policy Department and Major Elvir Mujkanović, Air Operations Officer of the Joint Staff of the AF BiH are visited with the aim of improving civil-military coordination in the field of aviation. 

On September 8th, 2021. they visited AMC BiH, which is located in the premises of the Area Control Center – Operational Unit I Sarajevo and held a meeting wit AMC BiH staff led by AMC Manager Ms Selma Hajdarević. During this visit, they were especially acquainted with the work of the staff of the MoD and AF BiH, which is engaged in this Unit, in accordance with the Aviation Law of BiH. It was pointed out that the establishment and operational work of the AMC BiH have significantly improved the process of airspace management in BiH and concrete activities have been agreed to further improve the work of this Unit.

The following day, September 09th, 2021. the representatives of MoD and AF BiH visited the Main Office of BHANSA in Mostar, where they were received by the director of BHANSA Mr. Davorin Primorac and he introduced them to the work and achievements, as well as to the strategic plans of BHANSA. During the working part of the meeting, the issues of implementation of the distance of 8,33 kHz between voice channels for the Single European Sky, the project of using Civil/Military ATM Coordination Tool Software (CIMACT) in BiH, cooperation on the issue of plans for ensuring radar coverage of the airspace of BiH and other issues of interest to the Ministry of Defense of BiH and BHANSA in order to improve civil - military cooperation in the field of aviation in BiH. 

It was agreed to continue with the practice of mutual visits, meetings and other forms of cooperation in the future period too.
