Major Recognition for BHANSA: Mostar Hosts a Major High-Level Meeting of the European Aviation Sector

Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA) successfully hosted the 53rd meeting of the FAB CE CEO Committee in Mostar, further reinforcing its growing role in the European aviation sector. This high-level meeting brings together leading decision-makers in air traffic management across Central Europe, and its organisation in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a strong signal of trust and institutional relevance.

On this occasion, Mostar became a focal point for discussions on the future of air navigation, welcoming directors and representatives of leading air navigation service providers from Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia, as well as partners from Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

“Hosting this meeting clearly confirms that BHANSA is today recognised as a credible and reliable partner within the European aviation community,” stated BHANSA Director Davorin Primorac, emphasising the Agency’s continuously growing role in the context of regional and international cooperation.

Participants discussed key issues related to the development of air traffic, including enhanced capacity planning, adaptation to traffic changes, along with new regulations, technologies, and workforce development. Special focus was placed on solutions that improve the long-term safety, efficiency, and stability of air traffic in Central Europe.

“Our ambition is to be an active contributor in shaping future standards and operational models that will define the European sky—not only to follow trends, but to help shape them,” added Primorac, referring to BHANSA’s strategic development direction.

By organising this highly significant event, BHANSA has further strengthened its position as a relevant stakeholder in international processes and demonstrated both operational and institutional readiness to take on complex initiatives at the European level.
