In accordance with its strategic plans, BHANSA has improved the provision of services for users of air navigation services in such a way that the provision of FIS services for VFR flights in the uncontrolled airspace of BiH outside the openness of the Flight Information Service – FIS in Banja Luka, is provided by the Approach Control Unit and Aerodrome Control Unit (ATS) Banja Luka.
The service is provided on the working FIS frequency 135.575 MHz
This ensures that the FIS service is provided in the entire Flight Information Area (FIR) Sarajevo, 24 hours a day.
In accordance with valid procedures, this change in the ATM functional system was accepted by the Directorate for Civil Aviation of BiH (BHDCA).
Airspace users can see more information about the provision of FIS services in the Aeronautical Information Publication, part "ENR 2.1 FIR, CTA, TMA" and follow the list of valid NOTAMs).
