Representatives of the military department of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina visited BHANSA

Representatives of the military department of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by LtCol Timothy Speace, assistant Army Attaché visited the BHANSA Head Office in Mostar on April 6, 2023. Mr. Davorin Primorac, BHANSA director welcomed and introduced them to the activities, organization and development plans of BHANSA.

During the meeting they discussed civil-military cooperation in the field of aviation in BiH, organization of BH airspace, equipment used by BHANSA to provide air navigation services, as well as procedures related to overflights through BH airspace, and take-offs and landings at international airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of direct contacts for achieving cooperation, in particular in situations of planning and holding joint military exercises of the US Army and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina during which the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina is used, since BHANSA provides air navigation services for civil and military air traffic according to the Aviation Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was also attended by acting director of the International Airport - Mostar Airport, Mr. Ivan Ljubić, who introduced the representatives of the military department of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina to the activities of the airport and its capacities.
