Management and Oversight of Changes [SAF-CHG-INTRO]

BHANSA in cooperation with EUROCONTROL organized the course - Management and Oversight of Changes [SAF-CHG-INTRO] within the activities on the implementation of the Commission Regulation(EU) 2017/373 оf 01st March 2017, establishing common requirements for air traffic management service providers / air navigation service providers and other network functions for air traffic management and for their supervision.

The mentioned course was held in Mostar in the period from 16th -19th May 2022. A total of 24 participants took part in it, 23 of whom were from BHANSA, as well as the ANS inspector of the BHDCA Mr. Dragan Petrović.

The course was conducted by the instructor of EUROCONTROL Mr. Jean – Michel de Rede.

During this course, participants from various organizational units of BHANSA (air traffic controllers, specialists in the field of airspace management and air traffic flow, engineers, aviation safety specialists, forecasters, aeronautical information and training specialists) were introduced to the requirements related to ATM / ANS change management in the context of Regulation 2017/373.  

Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between change management and the implementation of assessments for changes in the ATM functional system and changes in the methodology under Regulation 2017/373 in relation to the currently valid change management methodology.

It is considered the relationship between the ATM / ANS service provider (BHANSA) and the competent authority (BHDCA) from notification to tracking changes. The special value of the course was given by practical exercises, during which procedures were practiced in cases of changes that occur within the scope of work of BHANSA as a provider of ATM / ANS services in BiH.
