The objective of the workshop, which was attended by 40 participants from EUROCONTROL, BHANSA and other Air Navigation Service Providers across Europe, was to exchange experiences in the TRM in order to meet the human factor requirements of EU regulation 373/2017 laying down common requirements for providers of air traffic management/air navigation services. .

In addition, the workshop aimed to coordinate activities between TRM and stress management.

Initially, BHANSA employees provided basic information about BHANSA and in the work section presented the implementation of TRM in BHANSA, the role of psychologists, sports, and physical activities in stress management. Workshop participants from other countries presented the implementation of TRM in their Air Navigation Service Providers. One of the exercises used in the TRM workshops was practically demonstrated.

EUROCONTROL representatives stressed that the development of guidelines for the practical implementation of TRM is in the final stage, which will help Air Navigation Service Providers to harmonize their practices in the implementation of TRM across Europe. In addition, they presented human factor requirements of regulation 373/2017 and the Maastricht UAC experience in establishing Energy Management.
